Sr. Business Development Manager / Business Head

Job description:

Looking for a Business Development Manager/Business Head with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a focus on organization, and enhanced multitasking abilities. B2B sales, marketing and strategic analysis are important aspects of the position, along with exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to close deals. The ideal candidate has experience researching market trends, targeting relationships and using proven methods to develop our business strategy while retaining marketing partners.

  • Execute marketing plans and programs and provide ongoing support for all assigned channels to maximize lead generation, sales revenue, sales productivity, and profitability with a particular focus on the vertical sales channels. 
  • The BDM will be responsible for sales in India and US territory.
  • The BDM will work closely with AWS, AWS Aggregator and Progression sales team to build and execute a high-volume sale.
  • Engage with prospect to pitch the AWS/Progression Managed service proposition and build the case for closure with help from technical team
  • Manage/coordinate, execute and monitor customer events such as major tradeshows, webinars, and other industry events. Ensure events are aligned with the overall sales strategy for the product markets.
  • Maintains a complete understanding of pricing and proposal models
  • Creating and conducting effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects business problems, the effects of the problems, and the solutions to their problems
  • Implement sales tools, so as to maximize Sales Productivity and ROI. Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory including entering sales pipeline and sales activity into the company CRM system
  • Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of Client Satisfaction.
  • Develops annual business plan in conjunction with the Vice President, and detailing activities to follow during the fiscal year focusing on meeting or exceeding sales quota
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
  • Work closely with Marketing and sales team to launch lead generation activities.
  • Salesperson will work closely with technical team to facilitate and manage customer’s technical interaction, PoC etc
  • Demo the platform with the help of our Technical Team.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients



  • Experience in selling AWS, Azure Cloud Services is must
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, a technical discipline, or business.
  • Excellent and confident interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to portray a strong professional image of the organization to our clients
  • Clear and concise understanding of B2B sales
  • 5 years of work experience in a technology sales field, ideally with exposure to Cloud (AWS/Azure), Software services.
  • 5-7 years of experience with or exposure to business development or technical sale.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Account Management and well accustomed to a client-facing role.
  • Ability to Understand Technology.

  • Business Understanding.
  • Process Orientation.
  • Preferably from Pune
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Good at using tools like LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, etc. for research purposes
