Sr. DevOps Engineer

Job Description:
Looking for 5+ years of experience Cloud (DevOps/AWS) professional who is experienced in managing
cloud operations at large scale


  • Should have at least a BE/BTech degree
  • Must have minimum 3 years of experience in managing operations in cloud and Devops


  • Must be quite hands-on with Linux and/or Windows
  • Must be hands-on with start, stop, patching, upgrade, backup/restore, mount/unmount,
    restore, scaling of various services such as EC2, RDS, ECS, Caches, other clusters etc.
  • Must be well versed with foundational components of AWS such as VPC, EBS, S3, EC2, ELB, RDS,
    Systems Manager etc.
  • Must have set up monitoring and logs on various services in AWS. Must be familiar with
    CloudWatch or any open-source monitoring tool and configuration.
  • Must have set up alarms, notifications, lambda-based triggers to automate event responses
  • Must have good understanding of serverless architecture & configuration
  • Must be familiar with DR concepts
  • Must know how to orchestrate infrastructure automation using tools such as CloudFormation,
    Terraform or Chef/Ansible etc.


  • Good understanding of DevOps implementation using AWS native or opensource technologies
  • Experience maintaining and deploying highly available, fault-tolerant systems at scale
  • A drive towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g. scripting via Bash, Python, Ruby, etc)
  • Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes/ECS)
  • Version control system experience and associated tasks (e.g. Git)
  • Experience implementing CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, TravisCI)
  • Operational (e.g. HA/Backups) NoSQL experience (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis)
  • Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD processes for SaaS applications by accessing
    tools like Maven, Jenkins, etc.
  • Hands on experience in Maven, Ant, Groovy, Sonar Qube, shell scripting
  • Experience in creating jobs in Jenkins
  • Working in regulation with industry-standard best practices in close coordination with the
    integration and deployment team.


  • Manage and operate customers’ environments
  • Respond to incidents, problems, and requests by users
  • Proactive analysis of cloud infrastructure & provide require suggestions and deployment
  • Troubleshoot issues and prepare RCAs
  • Assist &upskill junior resources in day-to-day operations
  • Maintain service levels without escalations
  • Help in reporting service reports
